Circle Game 10 Pack
Circle Game 10 Pack
Featuring indigenous wisdom at play, this greeting card documents a traditional Efe Pygmy game in which the last remaining player is most likely to live a long and prosperous life. (The game is described on the back of the card which is pictured just below the circle photo to the left. Be sure to click on the thumbnail to read the text) Taken by adventurer/photographer JP Hallet in the 1960’s, this image is the one and only shot he snapped of this playtime activity. Hallet was a remarkable man, fluent in 18 different African dialects. He was an art collector, published photographer and author. Hallet spent much of his life in Africa working to help the Pygmies maintain their traditional way of life; he considered the Efe the most peaceful people on earth.
The card is printed on sturdy card stock with a beautiful feel and is blank inside. The Osani image has been sent to commemorate birthdays, graduations, marriages, and memorials. No occasion needed! This is a reminder to pay attention to the natural cycles that connect all of us.
